SAL(Sons of American Legion)
I hope everyone is having a great summer!!!! I want to
congratulate Tim Haugen as the incoming Commander and
thank past Commander Frank Anderson for a great year.
The SAL is continuing to serve food on Monday Nights and
have started grilling on Sunday nights from 6 – 8. Stop
in for a Burger & sing a little Karaoke with Pepper.
Karaoke goes from 7 – 10 on Sunday nights. I want to
thank SAL members Dale Jenson, Tim Haugen, Craig
Beckerleg & Post member Dennis Beckerleg for making
Burger night a huge success for the Cowboy Up Ride
Against Cancer. We raised approx. $450.00 that will go
to the Roger Maris Cancer Center. We finished 2009 –
2010 membership at 63 which is up 8 from last year and
21 in the last 2 years. This year dues for the SALwill
remain the same as last year. 0 – 15 years old - $8.00,
and 16 & up will be at $15.00. We’re looking for a few
volunteers to come out and help us cook so if you have
some extra time please give me a call, we’d love to have
you come out and join us. We’re also looking for
SALmembers to help out with the Color Guard at the Post,
so if you’d like to come and help out please call Paul

next meeting will be on Wednesday, July 7th at 7:00 at
the Post. We really would like to see you there and give
us some ideas and input. Please keep our service members
