We are midway thru the summer and its been a very
interesting one already. Mother nature continues her
strong hold over us with her weather forecast, lets hope
her wrath subsides as far as our tornado patterns
dwindle. Election of officers took place in June,
congratulations to all that were elected or appointed.
Our new Commander Tim Haugen will have plenty of support
and help as he guides Post 21 thru this new year. July
starts out a little quieter at the Club. We will be
closed on Sat 3rd and Sun the 4th. The staff is very
appreciative of the fact they get a 2 day holiday and
plan to use it to the fullest. The rest of the month
looks to be on track though, bingo, burgers and steak
fry’s are still our top priorities and seem to be doing
very well. SAL grill outs on Sunday and Monday are
attracting a good crowd and the singers are keeping
Pepper busy on Sunday nights also. Seeing how we will be
missing the 1st Sat in July for burgers, we are planning
the last Sat 31st for our patio party. Games, music fun
and food are on the agenda that day. Volunteers are
always appreciated to help get the patio ready, serve
food and help with the games, interested? Give the Club
a call. Please celebrate the holiday weekend safely and
take the time to thank those who take the time to put on
the events.
Mike
Please pray for those in uniform who make it possible
for us to enjoy the freedoms they make possible!
